New Business Construction
Natural Gas Distribution Pipelines
We deliver new business construction including the installation of plastic and steel main natural gas distribution pipelines including the traditional open-cut and trenchless methods. We also provide fabrication and installations of regulator stations.
HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling)
Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) is a versatile form of utility construction that offers an alternative to open trench and other trenchless construction methods, making it possible to install conduits under obstacles, regardless of the nature of the soil or rock. A rotating drill head is used to pierce and reduce the rock (or soil) into cuttings. Premier has extensive knowledge in HDD and has been trained and certified using large fleet drilling equipment. We are also skilled in locating existing utility crossings and parallel utilities before drilling begins. Premier has expertise in the following;
- Rock Drilling - HDD used for challenging rock drilling projects
- Pipe Ramming - Used for pushing pipe into areas where there is limited access or space
Replacement Construction
Pipeline replacement may occur when the age of a pipe has exceeded its life expectancy or when there is a history of leakage. Pipeline construction services provided by Premier, may include the removal, relocation or replacement of;
