Vacuum excavation is sometimes a cost effective alternative to conventional methods of using concrete or pavement breakers, backhoes and dump trucks to remove surface materials. Premier takes advantage of a wide range of procedures that virtually eliminates the chance of causing damage to surrounding underground utilities.
The typical opening is 18 inches, after which a small area of pavement or concrete is removed. Vacuum equipment loosens and safely removes the soil and provides access to the pipe beneath.
