- Ensures all employees are trained to comply with DOT (Department of Transportation)

Customer Service
- Manages leak calls and handles emergency responses
- Manages succession orders and reconnects / disconnects

- Meter reading activities
Gas Pipeline Safety Compliance
- Communicates with state and federal pipeline safety personnel
- Completes annual pipeline safety reports
- Maintains ongoing system records and documentation
- Completes leak surveys, high occupancy surveys and cathodic protection surveys
- Conducts odorant verifications and rectifier inspections
- Completes meter age change programs
- Conducts regulator and relief valve and bridge inspections
Gas Supply and System Operations
- Makes recommendations for gas commodity purchases
- Helps manage relationships with asset manager
- Manages system daily supply and transportation customer activities
- Monitors and maintains system pressures
Engineering Activities
- Develops and maintains operational and design standards and procedures
- Designs new and replacement facilities
- Reviews public improvement projects for conflicts with existing gas facilities
- Obtains permits and communicates with governmental agencies
Construction and Maintenance Activities
- Leak repairs of mains and services
- Replacement of mains and services due to age and condition
- Installation of mains and services to new customers
