Premier Energy Services began operations in 2002 as a contractor for the natural gas utility industry. Premier’s vision is to be an engineering and construction company offering safe, reliable, and cost-efficient services to local utilities. From humble beginnings, Premier has transformed with experienced staff leading its construction and maintenance operations and other key areas of business.
In order to sustain our growth and fulfill our customer commitments, we added complementary skills and experience to our management team in January 2009. The expansion was to accommodate direct management of Superior Utility Operations, a division formed within our overall corporate structure to focus on the operations of a local gas distribution company (LDC) in Southeastern Indiana. Superior also provides engineering and technical services to an LDC and a Master Meter Operator in Southwestern Ohio. The continued growth of our companies required us to bring an even greater focus to safety and training. A dedicated trainer oversees our OQ program who, along with others, is certified by MEA and ITS to administer both their curriculums. Our vast knowledge of distribution construction and maintenance has allowed us to put a comprehensive safety and training program into place at our companies. We have a classroom and a comprehensive hands-on training lab at our corporate headquarters.
Led by John Stenger, P.E., Owner and President, we continue to look for growth opportunities, and for ways to improve the service that we provide to our customers. Total customer satisfaction is a goal that we take seriously. Having well-trained employees, and looking at our work through our customer’s eyes have given us the ability to continue to meet our original vision of providing safe, reliable, and cost-efficient services.
